@smartypants I just realised you wrote it in your description and I completely skipped over it! My apologies! And yes it can launch from the catapult but if I remember correctly, the real one didn’t use it (of course it doesn’t need to be exactly the same though since it’s a game). I’m looking forward to more of your builds. With the effort you put in, I was surprised you only had one other!
@Mustang51 You can fold the wings on the ground. First disable group 8 the landing gear and pick group 1 for the folding wings. As far as takeoffs launch it from beasts catapult!!! Oh and I know it's not a great flying machine...
Okay so this looks really good and has some cool features and loads of potential but there are some things that can definitely be done better. Firstly, it’s very hard to take off but I understand that sometimes, even though you try hard to fix it, the plane seems to have a mind of its own when on the ground. It’s flight characteristics in general are not so great but this can easily be fixed by putting the COM further from the COL. Secondly, the wings will only fold when the gear is retracted, thus making it not possible to use on the ground (where it should be used). It would also be cool if you could add more of the weapons load but I’m not going to be too critical on that. Despite all this, it is still a fantastic build. I hope this helps and didn’t sound too harsh!
