The IAR-317 AirFox is a Romanian prototype attack helicopter, the project started in 1980 when the romanian government needed a Cas helicopter but they dont want to get the mil mi-24 and started the project they get the base fom the IAR-316 helicopter and havly modified it for the role whit gun pods,Pylons and a new cockpit confugurarion front and rear they build 2 prototype it even go to the paris air show but despite that it never entered production due to cut found an also the 89 romanian revolution.
