Base on the experience designing White Swan VHB. FMXI has continued on building next generation Air Cruiser Flying Fortress(ACFF).
ACFF do have the ability to take off from an airport. But due to its huge wing span. It usually take off from surface nearby the port.
ACFF is targeting on area air superiority control. With massive amount of missile, it holds the devastating abilities to clean up a whole air zone. It mainly acts as the newest and the most powerful strategic point in air conflict.

@Fu44MX, have you tried editing the fuselage parts around the silos? If you have XML mod, just add more to the part health, I don't know if it will stop the explosions, but it should slow down how long it takes to destroy
@frogbot4000 i still dont know how to avoid ammunation exsplosion... so as long as the ammo dont go off. it could take 6-10 shots
how many hits can it take? How many missiles before it falls?
