As another well-known variant of the 727, the 727-200 is presumably one of the most known 727s out there, built as a successor to the shorter 727-100, the 727-200 was a great airliner and became the most generic T-Tail Trijet design, the 727-200 even made it into the movie industry like US Marshals, in which a JPATS 727-200 (an aircraft JPATS formerly operated) crashes, or Die Hard II, in which several 727-200s (confirmation needed) are stuck flying over dulles airport, later lands safely after the 747 explodes, or Airplane!, in which a Trans American Airlines 727 (model only, unconfirmed if this is a -100 or a -200) is seen being held by a kid on the Trans American 707 that later lands after the crew is poisoned.
