MODLESS VERSION

The TV-60 "Jester-II" or "Pelican" is a 5th generation aircraft built by Tax (now split into East Tax and West Tax) during the final years of DWW3 to give some sort of replacement for the TV-51 "Jester". It still uses very long range missiles, but instead of the SARH B-555 missiles, it has Active Radar Homing B-666 missiles, with 120km of range. It also uses a short range IR guided missile, the B-44, which is/is supposed to be a Takish counterpart for the L-IR 6M

The program was first kicked off in 2020, while operation pool cleaner was taking place, and because of that, the aircraft was incredibly rushed, only having 2 years worth of flight testing before going into operation in late 2024, and its performance, was actually, several times better than expected (it was still outmatched by allied 5th gens like the YF-112, F-30 and the M-40), and it could effectively neutralize all 4th generation aircraft thrown at it.

Today, several months after the end of the war, most TV-60s are still in service –in the ETAF and WTAF– while the rest are in museums across Los, East Tax, Con and Baaland.

Operators

West Tax
The WTAF has around 100 TV-60s, but they have been refitted with Conish avionic systems, and weapons.

East Tax
The ETAF also uses TV-60s, but now in combination with allied planes such as M-40s, and newer postwar indigenous planes.
