Tiran Peregrine F.3

15.4k Dastin  4.2 years ago

The Tiran Peregrine F.3, a fictional Winolian single seat fighter that was employed by the Winolian air force throughout their participation in the latter half of the Second World War. It was the most manufactured Winolian fighter, serving in many Air forces during the war.

The plane followed the common design trends such as monocoque hull construction and extensive metal framing. This was thanks to the work of ex-German engineers who’d been given asylum in Winolia after the first world war. Early variants of the plane are comparable to the early Zeroes, Spitfires and Hurricanes that took part in the Battle of Britain. Upgrades and improvements would expand it repertoire extensively throughout the war.

Development would end in 1948 and units would be phased out with the adoption of the Dejen Gale F.5 as the first jet age fighter.

NOTES

Honestly wasn’t sure if I’d finish this since I’ve been working on it for months but here it is. I feel its at a stage now where I can comfortably show it to the public, despite some remaining issues (whoops).

Do be careful when trying to land. Apply brakes gently to avoid going nose first into the tarmac.

Takeoff is such a breeze, you can throttle to full and let it coast till it lifts. Just control yaw and you’ll be fine.
