The DC-10 is a three-engine medium-range wide-body airliner developed by Douglas Corporation (later merged into McDonnell Douglas Corporation, referred to as McDonnell Douglas Corporation) in response to the needs of American aviation, and is also used for military purposes, which is now discontinued [1].The DC-10 carries fewer passengers than the B747 and has a range similar to that of the Boeing 747, allowing it to fly both trans-continental and trans-oceanic international routes. The development program began after the merger of Douglas and MacDonald in 1967.
