Auto Credit Based on SilverTheDogfighter's Finish the build challenge!
A fighter swiftly cooked up to make for SilvertheDogfighter's challenge, based on the fighter aircraft of the DST faction from the 2003 sci-fi arcade flight sim "Yager". Compared with the inspiration, the biggest deviation is the addition of a vertical stabilizer, but otherwise the offset cockpit, tall engine (here created by stacking the two engines from the challenge on each other) and the canard layout have been reproduced, albeit the front tail fins are larger than in the original's case. Finally, the inspiration has a much shorter nose, but improving fuel capacity required making it longer.

If you want pointers on assymetric aircraft without using fuselages, go to my profile and look for aircraft with 'Assymetric' in the name, or look at my YAF-173.
@SilverTheDogfighter I'm impressed by this rating, specially for a first submission.
When making it, the main problem i found was indeed the turning (though my past asymmetricals have sort of Stockholm Syndromed me into putting up with that... specially a certain tandem horror).
I think that, from the editor view, the biggest improvement could have been to offset the weight more, as it's CoM is visibly misaligned with the CoL and CoT, but I think I locked in a tad too much with only using blocks and not fuselage segments, as otherwise I could have fixed that by using a counterweight like I have in my past asymmetrical contraptions.
For the basis of the aircraft: the reason I knew about it is that I had the game as a kid (I still do but it's not playable sdince I have no working console for it).
After reading your description and researching what it's based on, i'm raising your score from 9/15 to 12/15. That was a pretty hard-to-find aircraft!
(cough cough, definitely didn't forget to read your description before rating the plane)
These ratings are for a slightly modified version, where the right canard is angled up 5 degrees to compensate for the roll.
Design: 8/10
Turn rate: 3/10
Top speed: 13/15
Climb rate: 15/15
Overall rating: 9/15
The turn rate is dragging you down a bit- everything but design was averaged between the original and the modified-canard one- but overall, very good submission!
Loving the asymmetry! Currently flying this, hold on for a rating.
