Enjoy this Silver special Er-7 aircraft

The Er-7 is an experimental high-speed drone interceptor created at the OKB Ermaka in 1953. It was used by the Soviet Air Force for short-range interception of bombers and reconnaissance aircraft. The aircraft is equipped with a system without an airfield takeoff, which provides it with the possibility of installation near strategic enterprises and military bases. In the event of an enemy aircraft, the Er-7 is launched from a trailer on solid-fuel rocket boosters, after which it rises to a height of 17 km on the thrust of a liquid rocket engine, accelerates to Mach 3, and when approaching the enemy, reduces speed to 750 km / h and launches Air-to-Air missile "RSN-9" from a distance of 5 km, or hits the target with "BP-28" cannons. After a successful interception, the aircraft flies to the nearest airfield or field and lands on an extendable ski.

Weapons

The Er-7 has 4 suspension points with RSN-9 semi-active radar air-to-air missiles. The maximum launch range is 5 km (it is recommended to fly at a speed of 500-700 km / h during missile guidance). The Er-7 is equipped with two air cannons for close air combat of 50mm caliber with 500 rounds of ammunition

Take-off and landing

Take-off procedure:

activate AG1 and set throttle to 100%, then wait for the unit to fully lift and activate AG2. After activation, 2 boosters and the main engine will turn on and you just need to wait until the boosters work out and are automatically reset at an altitude of 350m from the ground. And then you can do whatever you want.

(Max altitude - 17km, Speed increases with altitude: max speed at the ground - 1600 km/h, max speed at 17km - 3600 km/h)

Landing procedure:

it is advisable to land at a speed of 450-350 km/ h, first deactivate LandingGear so that the ski moves if your speed does not exceed 600 km/ h, after touching the ground, start braking and activate AG7. when your speed drops to 300 km/h, the parachute is activated, which will automatically reset when the speed reaches 30 km/h.
