In 1964, Instead of Banning Arms Export, Japan begun to join in the International Arms Market, with the Introduction and F1 in Production, Japan saw it's potential to sold Mitsubishi F-1 to other Country. The first Export customer was Italy in 1976, Italy purchased 101 Unit of this aircraft, Hungary also followed with Produced License in 1977, Need to counter the Soviet and NATO Arms expansion, Yugoslavia bought 200 Unit of this Aircraft in 1979, and Got in the Production line as F1Y, in 1989, Austria and Czechoslovakia was interested to buy the License Production version of F-1, however the order was cancelled due to Breakup of the Yugoslavia, in 1991, Croatia and Slovenia captured this Aircraft from the Remaining Yugoslav Air Base, and Bosnia also inherited this Plane, in 2006 after Dissolution of FR Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro inherited this plane, the last Japanese F-1 retired in 2006, While Italy was in 2008, Ex Yugoslav country continue to fly this aircraft to this day, even Albania bought 12 Unit of F1 from Kosovo in 2011
