The Greek Goddess of Beauty sits nearby in the dim light. Everyone's attention is right where it belongs; on her. But, how could it not be? The body lines, the sleek figure, and the outfit that highlights all of her best features. Suddenly, her engines fire up, and she takes off faster than Hermes himself with all four wheels spinning. The gravel sprays, fire shoots out of the single central exhaust tip, and the dust is left to settle onto the onlookers. Will you be the one behind the wheel, smiling from ear to ear, or will you be showered with dirt along with the rest of the sickos re-reading the first part of this description?

When all is said and done, this particular Hera from 1991 was set to compete in Group A Rally. The rally version was based on a production chassis that was released the year prior. Starting off as a FWD platform, with AWD being released later as an option from factory.

Featuring a 1995cc (Marketed as a 2.0 litre) turbo powerplant putting out 302 horsepower, the car was quick, fairly light and very stable at high speeds. Its stability mainly came from its specially tuned independent suspension, which cushions each bump without creating much feedback. This was aided by its aerodynamic body shaping, front splitter and rear wing.

Controls

As per usual with my builds, controls are rather simple.

Pitch and Yaw for main controls, which can easily be reconfigured if you run PC and prefer pitch and roll. No hard feelings if you do.

Ag1-4 is all for lights, because lights.

Landing Gear opens all doors, because doors definitely count as landing gear.

It's VR compatible (pending confirmation), with it's own special instructions inside the game.

This car, as I've been trending towards lately, has a higher part count. This is due in part to all the extra details I've snuck into the car. This includes detailed and paneled doors, fully fleshed out roll cage, and some secrets under the hood.

Feature- Suspension and undercarriage

This car also features a nicely modeled underside, including one of my best designed suspension systems yet. It's compact, robust and very simple. Yes, it's modeled after a MacPherson strut style. But, for the first time, it actually looks the part in my opinion. And wouldn't you know it, I actually put the driveshafts/halfshafts/CV Axles in this time.

Note- this also my first time using my own hand-drawn concepts as a blueprint, which allowed me to create a better proportioned vehicle with some sense of direction. Development photos and screenshots are available if you are interested.

Note (final one I swear)- I made a post on reddit a while back, asking if I should make it into a hatchback or keep it as a sedan. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten. It's in the works, I'm just taking some time to make it unique.
