The Symphony SA-160 was a light sports airplane, developed by the Canadian company Symphony Aircraft Industries and the German Ostmecklenburger Flugzeugwerke (OMF). It was a development from the kit airplane Stoddard-Hamilton Glastar. Between 2001 and 2003 40 of these planes were built in Germany under the designation OMF-100-160. When OMF closed, production was moved to Canada, where the planes were sold as SA-160.
The Symphony features small vortex generators on top of the wings to help when stalling. This plane comes with an optional parachute system in case of emergency.
Top speed is 300 kph.
