SEE MY COMMENT AT THE BOTTOM!!!

Who said jets can't be tail draggers? This plane also sports some floppy wings up front which show quite a bit of flex during sharp turns. -Andrew Garrison

The Floppy Jet was designed by Andrew Garrison as a race plane, in the early days of Simpleplanes (before the fuselage update.) It appears to take heavy inspiration from the Heinkel HE 178 v1, which was the first Jet powered aircraft ever to fly, made evident by it's fixed gear taildragger layout, single engine, and forward placed inlets. It also happened to be similar in size to the HE 178, but had wings more closer in size and shape to the later HE 280.

It featured wings intended for heavy flexing under load.

Too anyone who's already downloaded this, I'd like to formally apologize.
i didn't know that the Blohm and Voss P-209.2 existed (albeit on paper.) I still think the Floppy jet is a combination of that aircraft and the HE-178.

German wartime jet prototypes are clearly not my forte.

    anyway, Here's a breakdown of the P209.2
It was a jet that matched the floppy jets layout almost perfectly with its forward intake, high mounted swept forward wings (Variable geometry proposal!) and single boom tail. it's only difference, and where the HE178's design comes to play, is the floppy jet's fixed tail dragger gear which comes from the HE178v1.

I'm embarrassed i screwed this one up so bad and the amount of effort i put into the build, only to build the wrong plane entirely.
