This is my first virtual cargo airlines project.

This is my first revealed Duck Republic Airlines to be fully Cargo operated. FeatherFed (inspired by FedEx and Flying Tiger Line). And you know? The largest fleet of FeatherFed as of 2025 are Airbus A300-600RF, Boeing 757-200SF, 767-300F, 777F, Cessna 208B Super Cargomaster, and McDonell Douglas MD-11F. First let's talk about MD-11F

About McDonell Douglas MD-11F of FeatherFed

In 1992, FeatherFed need a larger aircraft for increased cargo. At the time, Featherfed have Boeing 747-100SF and 200F which is really waste of fuel, and also McDonell Douglas DC-10-10 and 30F that can't carry cargo like 747, so decided to replace the 747 with MD-11. And 2 years later, First MD-11 delivered to FeatherFed on Spring 1994 with registration N111FE (Aircraft Name: Scrooge McDuck. This airframe now being withdrawn in use since 2022 and stored in Victorville California with unknown fate in the future). Only Some MD-11F of Featherfed are purely freight made meanwhile the majority MD-11 of Featherfed are converted passenger aircraft from other airlines. This is became largest MD-11 operator in North America below FedEx

Behind the success. There is the catastrophic crash of Featherfed Trijet (this crash involving DC-10 and MD-11, all of them because of Flipover due to Bouncy landing!!!!!)

Featherfed McDonell Douglas MD-11F notable crash

-N113FF (Aircraft name: Flintheart Glomgold) crashed in Los Angeles International Airport in 11 May 1996 as flight 1 with 3 occupant (2 Crew and 1 passenger) survived with serious injury.

-N133FF (Aircraft Name: Gaston)
crashed on Soekarno Hatta, Jakarta, Indonesia on 20 May 2011 killing 2 crew of the aircraft as flight 13. This became deadliest disaster of FeatherFed since FeatherFed Lockheed Constellation disappearance on 6 June 1966

Between 1994 to 2010, over 70 MD-11 of FeatherFed been delivered. As of 2025, only 17 MD-11 remain in operation with FeatherFed, all MD-11F of FeatherFed will retired in 2030 and Replaced by Boeing 767-300F and 777F. Older MD-11F mostly stored in Victorville and Mojave Desert after being retired between 2022 to 2025. And 4 of the airframe has been scrapped

And this is current livery of FeatherFed that has been used from 2000
