The FA-18 is a carrier capable, multirole fighter set in the cold war era. It is fast, manuverable, and can carry a heavy payload. But there are some drawbacks, while technically carrier capable, do too the design this aircraft becomes absurdly unstable at low speed. It is hard too land on a land based runway. Designed too be slightly nose heavy. Inhales fuel. Only a few minutes of fuel. Becomes extremely sensitive whn low fuel.
