Story :
The Charadine class was a class of light cruisers used by the Z-Navy, laid down in 1937 and commissioned in 1944-45. They were the first Anti-Aircraft cruisers built for the Z-Navy. Ten of the Twelve ships planned were completed.
Combining destroyer maneuverability with cruiser size and given a main battery that could deal not only with surface targets but with aircraft as well, the Charadine class embodied many of the lessons learned during World War II; she and her sister ships epitomized the hard-hitting dual-purpose cruiser.
