The gloves are finally off for the Spectre. Introducing, the Super Spectre!

The F-40D offers a lot of advantages over older models like the A and C variants. The Super Spectre is equipped with a new engine deigned to extend the cruise range multiple times over, as well as give the jet a new, powerful afterburner, which engages automatically above 95% throttle! The F-40D also has a refined flight model, allowing for more authority on the controls and lower chances of departing from controlled flight, a major problem with earlier variants.

In terms of weapons, the Super Spectre does not disappoint! The F40D comes equipped with the new all aspect Guardian Infrared system, which allows for targeting at any angle. The missiles have also received an upgrade in quality and quantity. The two old Aim-88s have been replaced with four brand new Aim-150 Enforcers. These missiles are far more maneuverable and have an off-boresight range of 135 degrees. They really pack a punch!

Considerations:
Do not fire the Guardian System, it will not do anything. It is supposed to force the plane you are fighting to use its countermeasures until you have a shot with the Aim-150s.
The Aim-150s have a semi-realistic burn time of 12 seconds. Due to the way SimplePlanes missiles work, they will not be great on long range shots.
