Northrop Grumman T-13 Devastator II

225 DuneBoi  3.0 years ago

This is the trainer version of the Northrop Grumman A-13 Devastator II developed by the USN to train pilots, WSOs and RIOs. The seating is slightly changed so the rear left station now has alternate controls so the trainer can take control. The previous RIOs station (rear right) can now switch between a RIO & WSO so that hopeful young junior officers can learn to perform these roles. The forward seat is now where equally - if not more - hopeful young officers can learn to fly a larger airframe whilst being accompanied by a trainer and fellow student. Other than this change, and the new snazzy red & white paint scheme, it is virtually identical to the standard version.
