Introducing, the DSG-98. DSG-98 is a formula race car heavily inspired by F1 cars from the year 2017-2021. The car was developed on an android phone and built from the ground up in Jakarta. During the 2 years of development, the philosophy of the car remains the same. I wanted an F1 inspired car that is realistic in appearance and performance, yet simple enough to be ran in mobile. The number 98 represents the number of iterations that have been produced throughout the 2 years of development.
The frame of the car was originally taken from Kakofrutaka's RF-01 formula car. However, as the development continues, the car is now a totally brand new car. Leaving only the suspension upright from the original RF-01. The result is a car that is faster, more agile, yet easily controllable and realistically achievable.
