Max Speed was clocked at over 50000ft, at 2100MPH. Tips for landing, do not hold the brakes, as it will cause you to quickly drop below 450 MPH as well as flip your aircraft. After the wheels are on the ground, you should be safe to hold the brakes. Parachutes can be used to help land aircraft at lower speeds, or be used to cause rear-end drag on take-off and allow it to take off of short aircraft carriers, like the USS Tiny.
