Kolibri F-1M

375 Mouki  3.7 years ago

Based on Mouki's Kolibri F-1B

The Kolibri F-1M is the "Marine" (navy in french) version of the very first airplane build and published by Kolibri Aeroplanes. This fighter jet is supersonic and offers a wide field of view due to its large cockpit glass. With its great maneuverability, its four "fire and forget" missiles and its two wing-mounted fuel tanks it can execute long range missions and easily destroy isolated planes or small formations.
HOW TO FLY IT:
First of all, this bird is very sensitive on roll input and might be a little unstable on yaw axis after a full roll input.
The elevators should not be operated at full pitch input unless for aerodynamic braking as they are monobloc.
Do not fold wings mid-flight.
It's better to touch-down before the arresting cables because go-around after carrier touch-down might be very messy.

AG1 : Aerobrakes
AG2 : Fold/Unfold wings
AG3 : Arresting hook toggle
AG6 : Missiles Jettisoning
AG7 : Drop Tanks
AG8 : Lights

Known issues:
-Rudder imputs at high speed (e.g. on take-off) can lift the wheel
-Can be uncontrolable upon landing if main gears aren't perfectly sync. on touch-down
-Full pitch down input on carrier take-off can result in weird main gear physics and break the plane
