F81FN is the French modified version of the F81N , the French Navy ordered 12 F81N from Indonesia as a replacement for their Etendard strike fighters and service alongside the Super Etendard,as a main fighter for the French Navy , the aircraft major modification were the wings , engine and uses the GPC-20 20mm cannon made specifically for France and is built with similar specs with ADEN 30mm revolver cannon , the plane was first ordered and modified in France , although Indonesia offered the modification to be done in Indonesia , the plane still capable of carrying the old F81N weaponry , but it can also be armed with Matra R.550 Magic , Magic 2 and Matra R.530 alongside R.530F , the plane was intended to retire in 2000 but seeing its performance it serves until 2018 , the plane receive many mid-life upgrade and the latest version can carry MICA missile and even MBDA Meteor , (Note : the number i use were same as a F-8E(FN) i found on the internet whilst looking for France's roundel)
