The Wexler Windstorm was designed for urban, and desert, applications. The amount of downward and rearward thrust can cause massive amounts of flying dust and debris, rendering the aircraft almost invisible as it flies in it's own dust cloud. The engines are controlled much like the original civilian Wexler model, but AG2 through AG4 control the rear propellers. A skilled pilot can land the aircraft on a very short runway, but it isn't quick to take off.
