History

The Napo-Class (or Naipo-Class), designated DDC-104, is a destroyer of the Imperial Otsumokuri Navy first introduced in 1980 as a commemorative gift for the 90th anniversary of the Imperial Navy. The ship was named after Grand Marshal Naipo Sawamura of the Imperial Navy, who played a crucial role in the Kosho Revolution, which took place between 1934 and 1936.

Overview:

The Napo-Class consists of six ships in total:
- Naipo (DDC-104)
- Shinto (DDC-105)
- Marina (DDC-106)
- Yukiko (DDC-107)
And two additional ships that were sold to allied nations:
- Maya GD-771 (formerly Komu DDC-108), sold to the People’s Republic of Corrint in 1998.
- Cloe SS-10 (formerly Sagahara DDC-109), sold to the Federal Republic of Eskoland in 2002 in used condition (suffered minor damage from a naval battle).

Armament

SSM (Surface-to-Surface Missiles):
- 4 Marthis SSM-7 long-range missiles, mounted at the front using a Vertical Launch System (VLS) with cold-launch technology. Effective for engaging targets in a 360° radius.
- 8 Marchin SSM-80 long-range missiles, placed in launch boxes beneath the superstructure. Less effective for targets outside the forward arc.
Non-Missile Armament:
- 8 UGT-29 torpedoes
- 1 Guarmard CIWS (Close-In Weapon System), effective at intercepting close-range aerial attacks from small aircraft.
- 2 D-44 75mm batteries. Not suitable for very close range.
SAM (Surface-to-Air Missiles / Defense):
- 12 Gammir SAM-10 long-range missiles, placed under the bridge and at the stern for long-range air defense.

Controls

• Ag2: Opens the left-side torpedo hatch
• Ag3: Opens the right-side torpedo hatch
• Ag8: Starts the engine
• VTOL (-/+): Engine throttle control
• Yaw: Steering
• Trim: Pull up to activate left torpedo (after Ag2 is enabled). Pull down to activate right torpedo (after Ag3 is enabled).
