The A-20 Flanking Hornet, also known as The LCAS, explained by Clover’s chairman interviewed by the SF Times online, Isaac Robertson, "Is a multirole, heavy duty, subsonic and super-maneuverable lightweight fighter jet, focusing mainly on air to ground, with future models planned to have afterburners." The small frame of the jet made it lightweight, loaded weight only being around 6,700 pound. Extra reinforcment made it over 10,000 pounds, making it heavier, but lightweight for a CAS jet. With an interview of the test pilot, Jebediah Rose, he explained the fly-by wire controls: "Post Stall Maneuvers have never been so easy before. The plane is really forgiving in dogfights, and allows you to pull a lot of G-force. I can see this becoming a menace on the CAS part of the battlefield, and replacing the MF-478 in the prime of it’s service right now."
LORE Back in the 2010s, a program was designed by Clover Aerospace Division, requested by the Taranian Government, to create an attack aircraft that can neutralize ground targets. Only 2 were selected out of the hundreds on the drawing board: the XA/B-192 for naval service, and the A-20 for Air Force Service. When both planes were tested, it was found out the small frame and high maneuverability makes it superior to any jet in a dogfight.
Okay okay. The load out is basic, but you can change it with your own air to ground, air to air, or multirole. no need to tag me or give me credits if you use it, since auto credits exist, but credits are heavily appreciated :)
