Gabo.INC Presents:
"M.C.K Sanctus Kalax"
The ship is the most powerful and most armed of the Republic of Kydux during the 1940s and 1950s, The ship features: 4 turrets with four 45cm guns each. 22 secondary turrets with three 15cm guns. 12 AAA turrets with three 0.9cm guns each.

The ship also contains: advanced turning systems, radars to detect enemy aircraft/ships, fire control systems for each type of weapons (which are manual), more armament than the previous ship and it is bigger!

History: The class was originally conceived in 1939 and the following year the green light was given to start full construccion, being the first priority of the shipyards of the republic, only 2 ships were created because it was seen that only that amount would be sufficient to have a high quality naval defense, the ships that were created are "Sanctus Kalax" and Sanctus Haxes" the first ship that was created was planned as the flagship of the navy, and the second was made as "plan B" in case the first was sunk in combat. The Navy had close calls with the Kalax about four times during the nation's time in the conflic (around the years 1944/1945) is which the ship had strong/catastrophic damage on the occasions that happened at various times it was thought about decommissioning the ship but the opportunity never arose, apart from the fact that The naval high command saw the ship as a key element of the navy. After the war The ship saw little action, having the occasional crossing in a low-intensity conflict or being a show of force in a specific area, but currently the ship continues to be used in The Navy being the flagship and being modernized several times (in the years 1956, 1978, 1999, 2009, 2015 and its last modernization in 2024) The ship is expected to continue to see active service in the coming decades until 2039 being symbolic of the same year in which its construction was planned.

(the version of the ship uses the colors of the flag of the Republic while also has the flags of the Navy and Kydux in the year of 1943)

Controls:
Throttle: Move Forward
Yaw: Move turrets to the sides
Roll: Turn the ship
(Each camera is used to move the weapons)

@Graingy Well you're right, but the fact is that Kydux left it active in a case of being symbolic rather than functional, basically the inspiration was to have naval superiority and gunpower in a situation were they didn't have any missiles but the point is that they left the Kalax because it is more for history and as an achievement that they did want to take advantage of, It can also serve as a backup in a situation where a naval invasion is necessary to have artillery power and such. (As you said, it makes sense to have a new ship, but in later stages around 1980, Kydux made a new class to replace the Sanctus, so well)

At that point just build a new ship. If the entire structure has been replaced it’d be easier to start over with new technology.

@Graingy the fact is that Kydux saw the ship as one with a lot of potential, apart from the fact that they spent a lot of materials on making it, and when they modernized it they changed many things (basically making a Theseus ship) like the base structure, the armament, and so on; but I get the point :)

An 80 year old active service ship is begging to be allowed to retire.
