Here's an aircraft that isn't mentioned in everyday talk. The M-55 was a larger, heavier version of the M-17, itself a modification of Subject 34. Currently serving in an Arctic research role, it was a reconnaisance varient of the M-17, named the M-17RN. With a service altitude of 66,000 feet, it is comparable the U-2 in mission. Only 5 have been made. AG-1 for lights, and enjoy this rare aircraft!
