New Modded Version

The Gepard 1A3VR is a Main Battle Tank characterized for it's mobility, precision and reliability in it's effective service life.

Lore:

Development on the Gepard MBT started in the 1960s, as Anbruch's first Main Battle Tank, being comparable to it's contemporaries while besting them in Anbruch's desert and hilly environment.
The first production model, the Gepard 1A0 was a 39 Metric Tons, Diesel Powered MBT armed with a 95mm Main Cannon, designated PzK-M5B. The tank established the Gepard's philosophy of high mobility at the cost of overall light armor for it's time.
Later, the first upgraded variant, the Gepard 1A1 rolled off the production lines. Equipped with the upgraded PzK-M5D, Applique Armor, IR and Night-Vision systems, a more powerful engine and provisions for dozerblade mounts, alongside better crew confort.
In the 1970s, following feedback from engagements featuring the earlier models, the Gepard 1A2 entered service, replacing the PzK-M5D and it's Fire Control System with the new and more powerful 105mm PzK-M7A and it's FCS. Reliability upgrades were also fitted, decreasing the amount man-hours servicing the vehicle.
In the late 1970s, the Gepard 1A3 entered service, swapping the Diesel Powerplant for a lighter, more reliable Gas Turbine capable of getting the tank to 68km/h. Alongside this, the turret was redesigned, featuring a Laser Rangefinder, a Laser Reference System, early Thermal Optics for the Gunner and improved frontal armor.
In the end of the Gepard's lifecycle, before it was replace by it's bigger and newer brother, the Gepard 2A0, the Gepard 1A3VR entered service. A survivability focused upgrade, featuring superior armor, upgrades to it's Vertical Stabilizer, FCS and Suspension and provisions for the mounting of Explosive Reactive Armor or ERA. These upgrades from the A3VR variant decreased the vehicle's top speed to 65km/h, but usually it is kept at 60km/h to decrease wear and tear.
Currently, the Gepard 1 series is being replaced by the new Gepard 2 line.

    I have now made a version of this tank featuring Turret Control and Tracks 2. Made to experiment with these mods, but you can play with it if you want

    What was good is now way better in my opinion! I spent a good ammount of time upgrading this tank to the standard i always wanted it to have (even it made my phone become pretty hot).
    I made all the edits for the thumbnail and that first image using IbisPaintX (i was not aware it had that many filters).

    List of changes from the original build:
    -Actual Suspension;
    -More realistic turret features;
    -More cameras:
    -Better Weapons and Ammo Types;
    -Glass instead of Fuselage blocks for ERA;
    -Added features;
    -Many cosmetic changes.

    @Bobyo thanks! The main inspiration was the Leopard 1, but ended up a bit more like a Challenger 1 or Chieftan Mk.6, since i went for a hull down style of combat

    I really love this. Its well made, from what if looks like it features some Russian tank design along with some German ones, and it looks like it could be a versatile tank that could possibly serve in alot of regions that some tanks can't operate in

    @SILVERPANZER ah that would be very nice to have! I mainly use VTOL and Trik for my own convinience, but a change like that would be welcome
