With the eventual failure of most every night fighter aircraft, and the rising number of British and American bombers destroying German factories during the late years of the war, the RLM offered Alexander Lippisch an order for a nightfighter bomber intercepter; a 2000kg bombload, a max speed of 600 kilometers per hour, a max range of 600 kilometers, and as few strategic materials as possible.
With the designing process started during late 1943, and it finishing right at the beginning of 1945, the design Lippisch brought to the RLM saw extremely limited use.
Lippisch brought the RLM a tailess, three crew design, primarily a wood construction, with the forward fuselage/crew compartment and the wing roots being the exception. The entire plane was powered the entire plane was powered by two Daimler-Benz DB 630 36 cylinder Double W engines, giving a top speed of roughly 500kp/h loaded with all it's equipment.
As a note, a jet powered version was planned, but was scrapped as it used too many strategic materials in it's construction.
(Basically sequel baiting)

The first prototype (A-1) was build in December of 1944, flying from Essen to Berlin for an endurance test, then a flight back at night. The prototype, while on the way back to Essen, encountered a formation of British Wellingtons. It didn't survive the encounter, mainly because it didn't receive it's armorment, and one of the gunners spotted the prototype flying above the formation.
With the setback endured, another prototype was built two months later (A-2). This one was armed, and recieved all the necessary equipment.
Loaded with 16 SC100 bombs, 4 MK 108 30mm cannons in the nose, 2 MK 108 cannons in the Schräge Musik configuration, and a FuG 220 Lichtenstein SN-2 radar in the nose. With the armorment came the full crew; the pilot, the engineer (Whom also reloaded the Schräge Musik), and the radar operator (Who laid over a ventral cupola).

The second protoype was sent up from a hidden airfield outside Berlin to disrupt British night bombers, and succeeded for the extremely short amount of time it was up, downing two Wellingtons, a Lancaster, and a Mosquito.

During the last few weeks of the war before Germany's surrender, the crew abandoned the second prototype, but not before destryoing it on the runway to keep it from approaching Soviet forces.
By the time the Soviet troops arrived at the airfield the prototype was, the wooden frame was burnt to ashes, and the metal frame warped. Very little about the planes existance survived except a few technical documents about maintinence of the plane.

For this variant, a Fritz X was loaded undercarriage with the SC100 bombs.

Now for the controls:
AG1: Drops all undercarriage payloads
AG7: Activates Schräge Musik
AG8: Activates Forward MK 108 30mm cannons.

Use trim people, all the way down for takeoff.
