Hailing from the early 1960s, the F-225 “Turn-Tail” represented the peak of smooth flying in its era. Snappy controls and excellent thrust-to-weight ratio made it a killer dogfighter, given the chance. Its two rotary cannons certainly would agree.
The F-225 was intended to fill the role of a low-speed air superiority platform, being capable of relying on both cannons and a respectable missile armament. It specialized in sticking to rough, mountainous terrain, hiding amongst the peaks to sneak into attack position. Once an enemy was in its sights it was often a quick end for the unfortunate opponent.
Armament:
-2 rotary cannons
-1 BlockRocket Prototype (~1962), long-range heavy air-to-air kinetic missile
-4 Interceptor fire-and-forget air-to-air missiles
-8 Guardian short-range air-to-air missiles
This is a heavily (and I mean HEAVILY) re-worked version of a very, very old craft. If I had to throw out a guess, I’d say somewhere in the general ballpark of 4 years. I recently realized that it actually flew quite well (I have no idea why I abandoned it originally), and decided to complete and upload it. It took me a bit to actually get to doing that, but within a few hours today I’d decided that it was way too small, thus had to increase its size. It’s a miracle it still works, frankly.
I upped the size significantly, added an engine, and gave it a basic VR cockpit, albeit as an afterthought. The original craft was certainly built long before VR was a thing in this game.
It now has a potent armament while retaining respectable performance and a smooth flying experience.
Enjoy!

Kinda funny that the screenshots make it look black.
It's dark blue.
How tf does this get so many listed downloads?
can’t be a delta wing if it dosent have PSM🤷♂️
@Graingy Alright with me
@TheUltimatePlaneLover Delivery timeline would be Wednesday at earliest. We have unsold stock. We'll just need to make sure they're all up to spec.
Reminds me of the Eurofighter
I'll take 15
@TheUltimatePlaneLover I'd throw this one in the same class as the FM-195 and GLF-80A. Just another fighter option, should you fancy it.
Heavily armed for air-to-air dogfights, featuring two rotary cannons.
Missile armament is also nothing to scoff at.
It'll run you around $20,000,000.
10,274 kilograms of fuel carried.
Mass calculations here are screwed up 'cause I don't know the BlockRocket prototype's mass.
Darn.
@Noob101 Bro looks significantly slower than a jet
