About Juneyao Air:

Juneyao Air (Chinese: 吉祥航空; pinyin: Jíxiáng Hángkōng; lit. 'Auspicious Airlines'; formerly known as Juneyao Airlines) is an airline headquartered in Changning, Shanghai, China.
The airline operates both domestic and international services from two Shanghai airports (Hongqiao and Pudong). The company was founded in 2005 as a subsidiary of Shanghai JuneYao (Group) Co., Ltd, and started operations in September 2006. It reported a net profit of about CNY1.05 billion ($161.3 million) in 2015. The airline entered the automotive segment in 2023 by creating the JuneYao Auto branch. To begin the vehicle development and production, Juneyao Air acquired the financially troubled Yudo startup.

The Airbus A320neo family is an incremental development of the A320 family of narrow-body airlinersproduced by Airbus. The A320neo family (neo being Greek for "new", as well as an acronym for "new engine option") is based on the enhanced variant of the previous generation A319, A320, and A321, which was then retroactively renamed the A320ceo family (ceobeing an acronym for "current engine option").

B-30C9 was the first of 22 A320neos to be delivered to Juneyao Air. Juneyao Air uses the A320neo (and ceo) on domestic and international, short/medium haul routes, from Shanghai-Pudong/Hongqiao to places like Singapore Changi, Phuket, Urumqi, Tianjin, and Hong Kong, among others. Juneyao Air may have chosen this (alongside Spring Airlines) because the A320neo offers better fuel efficiency and less emissions compared to earlier models.

History of B-30C9:

B-30C9 had its first flight on 25/10/2019, is 6.2 years old, and was tested at the Airbus Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Tianjin Binhai Int’l Airport (TSN/ZBTJ), with the test registration of B-000U, and the MSN of 9189.

This aircraft has currently been in service with the following airlines:
