The F-104 is a fighter jet created by Lockheed in pursuit of a 'cheap and fast' jet interceptor during the development of the Century series.
The F-104 was developed by the Skunk Works team. In pursuit of extreme high-speed performance and climbing ability, even the wings were drastically reduced to lower air resistance.
