Proteus Industries Eagle

In 1934, the Andromedian Air Force saw fit to develop a fast single-engine interceptor. Captain Retired Alexander Hemsworth, the designer for Proteus Industries, saw fit to design an airframe to be as small as possible, with as large an engine as practical. This resulted in a high wing loading, but a very fast rate of climb and high speed, and in addition even utilized an ejection seat. The Proteus Industries Falcon took off in 1935, and became quickly modified to Mk. II, Mk. III, and IV standards. Larger wings, however, converted the Proteus Industries Falcon to the Proteus Industries Eagle. While the Falcon utilized a single 36mm cannon in the nose, firing through the propeller, the Eagle utilized two 20mm cannons. This aircraft took off in 1936.
