Fixed version, several problems with the earlier post. Upvotes appreciated!

The Krakabloans, at around the time of the Three Years’ War, had proved themselves advanced makers of civilian autogyros, meaning the main rotor was only powered by autorotation. After the war had started, the need for multi role attack craft became huge and as such the military version, the AU-GR1, was born.

First deployed in late 2397, it was the main Krakabloan Air Defense fighter used until mid-late 2399, and it had proved itself quite capable. It featured the heaviest armament fitted to a non-fighter of the war and could be used for a wide variety of roles. Without a payload, it could reach 297 mph at 500 feet and with payload 255 mph, which interestingly enough was the top speed of the Krakabloan TR1-PN-K heavy bomber. A few unusual features included a main rotor that did not extend par the tail, a front-seat-pilot configuration, and large stub wings to fit large amounts of weapons.

It could carry an extremely heavy load with each pylon holding up to 600 pounds and a “hump” on the nose with two .303 caliber machine guns. This AU-GR1 features two 19-capacity rocket pods, two 50mm autocannon pods (10 rounds apiece) and on the left side, antiarmor burst rocket that could fire a single volley of five closely-placed rockets, which proved very effective against enemy troops. The right outer pylon holds a marker flare pod for FAC roles.

Overall, the AU-GR1 was a very well armored, armed, and performing craft, and held up well thoughout its total ten years in service. It had great damage control, great view for the backseat observer, and could land vertically, making it ideal for carrier/forward base use.

Controls are as follows:
VTOL down activates high lift mode, although since the main rotor has a decent neutral pitch it’s only necessary for really hard upwards pitches.
Ag7 jettisons load.
Attacks should be made by climbing up to 5,000 feet and then diving in.
Good luck out there!
