PF. Mk.1 'Saviour'

15 B3nj1  9.4 years ago

The Saviour earned it's name from the role it played in the War of Union. This small but fast fighter aircraft was the first aircraft operated by the Wright Isles Air Defence Force, and was instrumental in the destruction of a large number of 'Conveyor' Bomber aircraft of the Krakabloa Air Arm. The Key to the Saviour's success was its speed and endurance, able to menace enemy bombers from takeoff to landing.

The Mk.1 is the most basic model of what would become a handsome and highly successful aeroplane. Armed with 4 machine guns and with and incredible top speed for its small engine, this fighter really earned its name. Unfortunately this early model was dangerous at both takeoff and landing, and turning performance rapidly decreased with greater altitudes.
