Smirnov SM-4 (NATO reporting name "Curve") is a Soviet twin-engine airliner, designed in 1947 by Smirnov design bureau in Leningrad for local routes. Designed for use on unprepared airfields.
The design is a two-engined low-wing monoplane with a circular fuselage and a triple tail
Equipped with two Nikolayev VN-1 10-cylinder radial piston engines, each providing power of 2000hp
