Fiddled around with property editor on the engines to make them more powerful
Pros-Goes over 1000KPH, STILL DOES PSM PAST 1200KPH
Cons-Unstable at high speeds, probably isn't supposed to PSM

I distributed the mass with the fuel: try moving the fuel or setting the dead mass to the front, to fit your taste.
I imagined this model as a comfy airplane, for gentle handling, no tight turns or acrobatics.
In general I correct the flight characteristics only with extreme stability or instability, if it becomes annoying. I enjoy learning the particular behaviour of the model. Like in real life, some maneuvers are not permitted in some airplanes; you gotta do some stuff in the right way.
Pros:
It can PSM
Cons:
I don't think it's supposed to
The experience i had with handling was… a little less than desire able, it span out while trying to enter a turn. Other than that, very nice
@miloz13 congrats on getting on the “ SimplePlanes 2 | Graphics” post!
Nice design, love the aesthetic, but honestly, the wing needs to get moved back a whole unit until the thing is even flyable.
PODRACER
This unfortunately doesn't fly very well (moving the center of mass forward a little bit helps), but I like the design
Bro how-
@Graingy Wow! I never noticed the existence of this trick. With the smoothing the model is way cooler. Thanks!
Gives me star wars vibes nice job you gave me flashbacks😂👍🏻
@miloz13 it’s on like the first page of the fuselage edit tab?
Smooths the textures on fuselage edges with ones connected to the ends.
This thing, with its default thumbnail, lack of smoothing, and general style feels very pre-2020 to me. Not necessarily a bad thing, just pointing out I’d expect to see “6.0 years ago” below its name with how it looks, and by an account that hasn’t been seen since the end of the pandemic.
@Graingy I built it yesterday, and I sincerely don't know what fuselage smoothing is...
I do wonder why fuselage smoothing wasn’t used. Is this a very old craft that wasn’t updated for upload?
@ThomasRoderick Ohhhh that's interesting
@SomeSPGuyWhoLikesLore
Nobody ever said dieselpunk and retro are mutually exclusive, and pre-war Fallout is more or less atompunk, which IIRC is a subgenre of dieselpunk.
(Reference: steampunk ≈ pre-WWI, dieselpunk ≈ interwar, atompunk ≈ post-WWII)
@GeneralCorpInc I think this is more of a retrofuturistic design like fallout
The typa shi you'd see crashed in a fallout game
Love it
You made me understand what dieselpunk style is with this magnificient boy, thanks!
The old Studebaker of biz jets!
@Graingy thnx
Cool looking!
