The Budd Rail Diesel Car (RDC), also known as the Budd car or Buddliner, is a self-propelled diesel multiple unit (DMU) railcar.
The RDC-4: a 73 ft 10 in (22.50 m) variant with only the railway post office and baggage area. It weighed 109,200 pounds (49.5 t) empty.
I extensively tested and modified this railcar to be able to run ok enough on SP2 trackage. I know that the RDC isn't a 6 axle train, but it turns out SP2 track gauge is SLIGHTLY narrower then SP1 "bootleg gauge" and for some reason only YarisSedan's SD40-2 is able to run unmodified on SP2 track, everything else doesn't work, yes I mean anything else (excluding trains made with the above named SD40-2's trucks). so I took the trucks off of it and used it on here. if you want to run this RDC in SP2, you will need to align a car (best use this l3 by the person we shall not name as it fits PERFECTLY between the tracks in SP2) aligned up as straight as possible and get a spawn point on the tracks. once you are able to get the RDC running keep speeds lower then 60 mph or you will derail. also keep away from the port and coal plant there are switches that will derail you and there's nothing you can do, also don't allow anybody to jump onto the railcar if you look at it wrong it will derail.
this budd RDC was made by TheCanauckNamedCody.
if you want a consist that cant run on SP2 but still will be fun to have nonetheless have ether a 3 car consist or a 2 car consist to run trains in SP1

@Monarchii damnit
@Graingy you cl-ear-ly signed up for this, now deal with it >:3
@Monarchii what have i done
@Graingy if you hear scary sounds, can you say that's quite.. ear-rie?
@Monarchii ... I regret calling you now. Good job!
@Graingy I can't pitch in, I don't lobe trains that much
I can't use this yet but i think it's neat
...
Damnit I need better ear puns.
@MONARCHII! Get in here, I need your pun skills!
@Boeing727200F I guess I'll be hearing back, then.
@Graingy I'll show you later
"Did you hear-"
"I heard."
@Boeing727200F Yeah I can't see the difference.
@Graingy yeah I used a new Roblox feature to make them larger.
kinda uncanny to see them unmodified though
@Boeing727200F Improvised? They look the same to me...
@Graingy oh, improvised larger ears.
@Boeing727200F ... I meant the PFP.
Looks nice!
Great work Boeing person!
i am gonna download this just so i can get a reference on what the gauge is
@Graingy yeah they practically are externally.
internally stuff changed. first single car variant was found to have way to much HP, so I lowered it to 50 HP with a second variant. the second single car variant was found to be topheavy, so I made a third variant with dead weight added to the frame. and the final variant (this one) is identical with no changes from the third variant, only change is this one is posted and has a thumbnail.
*Doughnut
@Boeing727200F I can hook you up with a donut if you need to pwn someone.
And forgive my poor spot-the-difference skills, but it looks identical to the one three ago?
yeah. I will do that
I will do that.
you know what I should make
a variant of this with turrets to shoot at anybody who dares attacking the train.
@Graingy
it works well enough now that I don't think it will happen again, unless that one stupid fucker blows it up again, I want them DEAD (in game when they blow up my train again)
also no this isn't an old PFP its a new one taken today.
@Boeing727200F I need to make a lawn chair to sit in while you lose your mind trying to get this thing to work.
Back to the old PFP too, I see.
