A design I made a few years ago, it’s supposed to be a seaplane/jet mix.

Description:
A seaplane with a single engine, designed for recon and equipped for SAR missions.

Grouping:
1 - NAV Lights
2 - Landing Lights
3 - Anti-collision Lights
4 - Left Beacon Drop
5 - Right Beacon Drop
6 - Drop Tanks
7 - Emergency/Landing Parachute

Armament:
1x Minigun (Coastal Defense)
1x Camera Pod
2x Droppable Beacons w/ Cameras

Fictional Backstory:
The U.S. Navy was in need of a light reconnaissance and strike aircraft, capable of landing on water. While it did not live up to the qualifications of the Navy, due to it carrying less missiles and being slower than the design required, the design was deemed able for production for the U.S.C.G, and saw active service beginning around the late 1980s.

Notes of the Aircraft:
It is fairly hard to take off from water, especially when loaded down with the fuel tanks and beacons. The tip is to basically skim the top of the water and then have it take off. The downward facing camera is difficult to get used to, as it always points due north, but it is easy to use on autopilot.
