The B-88B "SkyRat" is a 1950s carrier-based strike bomber designed to operate from short flight decks.
A trijet, with two smaller underwing engines and a third much larger core jet, it is quite capable at hauling itself into the air.
It turns on a dime, though pilots have noticed stability issues at times, especially after dropping its payload.
Regardless of these faults, the "SkyRat" performed respectably during its brief stint in the Korean War, where its effectively redundant (and jettison-able in case of fire) engines gave it greatly desired survivability against the constant flak the aircraft drew.
