Backstory. The I-140 Phoenix is an all weather interceptor designed to replace the I-32, the I-140 features 18x50 caliber machine guns for armament, its power plants consist of 2x R-3210 Raptor engines and 2x J-4350 Jet engines. Its initial production run lasted from 1949-1963 with 15,323 produced as it was phased out by newer aircraft. She is still serving as Training and National Guard aircraft. The A variant was optimized for Day combat, as provided by the 2 tone camouflage.
