The X-DR.Mig-15 is a lightweight fighter aircraft developed by the Reichswehr Innovationszentrum to reduce the cost of heavy interceptors when the target is at close range.
History of development: in 1945, the Reichswehr Innovationszentrum asked several engineers to develop a light fighter that could be deployed quickly and cheaply. After 2 months, only one engineer's design was approved and tested and was extremely successful. 3 days later, the aircraft was renamed X-DR.Mig-15 and was supplied to the Luftwaffe and Grom air forces.
Variants: 1. X-DR.Mig-15 B is a variant with additional missile decoys and missile pylons pending approval; 2. X-DR.Mig-15 NV is a naval variant pending approval.
Main weapons: 37mm cannon (1x), 23mm cannon (2x).
