The 100-part Boeing 314 Clipper, "Honolulu."
“In the world of man-made objects, be they antique cars, historic locomotives, steamships, religious symbols, or, in this case - beautiful airplanes, certain creations stand out. Whether due to perceived beauty, historical importance, or imagined romance, these products of man's mind and hands have achieved a status above and beyond their peers. For me, the Lockheed Super Constellation is one such object. So is the Boeing 314 Flying Boat - the Clipper. An Icon in the purest sense of the word.” – Author Unknown
A massive flying boat, the Boeing 314 Clipper possessed transatlantic and transpacific range, offering a luxurious first-class experience to its passengers.
Assembled at Boeing Plant 1, the 314 made its first flight in 1938 from Elliot Bay at the Seattle Waterfront. Just 12 examples were built to serve at Pan-Am and BOAC, but the design remains an iconic symbol of the glamorous age of air travel.
This is a 1:1 scale model in dimension, weight, and power, but I had to make some design compromises to keep the part count down.
Enjoy!

@B747Driver Thanks, glad I could give you some new and great ideas.
@STENDEC Those are some good ideas!
@B747Driver Great job making this classic! I wonder if you could make a Dornier Do X, Saunders Roe Princess, Bristol Brabazon, Sikorsky VS-44, or a Tupolev ANT-20 Maxim Gorky for your next project?
Great! 👍🫡
@B747Driver Nice
@Christiant2 Thanks! Hoping to make it fly as realistically as possible too.
Great plane!
