I have been working on a more simple electric engine for the submarine, due to all the little parts, and also it random reversing rotation when underwater, so I have this so far as a more conventional engineering concept in mind. Simple linear to rotational motion. The physics in the game are def strange, so I found that 1/2 VTOL immediately (not gradually), make this puppy spin quite well. Will work on gear like reduction possibly for faster rotation, but not sure the physics are able to accomplish it yet. Will always try!
