CAUTION, BEFORE YOU FLY PLEASE LOWER YOUR VOLUME, THIS AIRCRAFT IS VERY LOUD AND MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO SPEAKERS/EARS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

"An attempt to give Simpleplanes engines a more "powerful" and "beefy" sound"

For a long time I have always been bothered by Simpleplanes engine sounds, I have tried multiple times to recreate that powerful spool up or rumble real jet aircraft have, this is an attempt at that.

The XRS-188 "Cougar" is a demonstrator aircraft designed to showcase an experimental sound module I've been working on. the sound module can be found in each engine, feel free to use and or modify.

Controls

Throttle — Engine + Sound Module
VTOL — Flaps
Trim — High Power Booster Engine
AG1 — Drag Chutes

Important Notes

  • Due to the amount of engines this craft has it runs out of fuel FAST, if you're wanting to get more range out of it use the Trim slider to activate the booster engine and then go for a vertical climb, level out at around 40,000 feet and cruise (the higher the better).

  • Using the flyby cam can produce some cool sounds.

  • The fuel counter is busted due to the amount of fuel it has.

  • Mach counter sometimes breaks?

  • Crashed my game once during development - lol.

Have fun!
