In 1903 when the Wright brothers made the first plane in history two young German men were inspired. In 1904 two youn men with the names of "Franz Kiel" and "Friedrich Wolf" decide to reach into the air for the feeling of innovation. They set out to build a plane to take off and land with flight time of at least 1 minute. They did all they could to learn more about aerodynamics, physics, and engineering. They offically started the company "Sterne-Labor" in 1907 when they gained enough support that they saw this dream would come true. After the years they saw new planes rise and they eventually reached 1910 when they first started planning out a design. They required an engine of certain kinds. They decided to build their own which set back the target date a few years. They kept on going and one night.... December of 1912 on the 20th they finished the aircraft..... they had just created a craft to beat gravity and could fly like a bird. They were so happy about this acheivment and decided the date that they would show the public this craft.
The year is now 1913 on the 9th of march. Tens of people sit around hearing about a few boys who just beat gravity. At 2:00 exactly Franz Kiel sat in a craft they built and had just taken off from the ground. Their families were so proud and the boys eventually gained so much money from this acheivment that they could make this newfound company skyrocket into the heavens.
Franz died in 1944 and Freidrich died in 1949. Their dreams still live on as today amazing craft are still made by Sterne-Labor.
