Blackburn Beverley (with air drop land rover)
With it's ungainly looks the Blackburn Beverley could arguably make my not-so-great series. The Beverley first entered service around the time of the legendary C-130. The latter is still in service the former was operated for around 10 years.... With that said the bev excelled in the STOL heavy lift role. (I can testify to the STOL capabilities as I managed to land and take off from the USS Beast on my first attempt) I have included an air droppable mk 1 defender to drive around in. Unfortunately it's not retrievable. I made the aircraft before the car and had some issues parking the car back on. Controls are AG1 for the engines, AG2 and VTOL down for flaps, AG3 and VTOL down for the rear clamshell doors, AG7 detaches the defender, AG6 deploys the parachutes for the car and AG5 activates its engine. I recommend a little pitch up when detaching the car and the aircraft requires a little trim in flight. I would deactivate AG1 when attempting to drive as your plane might not be where you left it if you don't. This was quite an entertaining and enjoyable build and I hope you have fun with it!

It looks surprisingly good, seeing as nudging wasn't a thing!
Here she is from way back when I more or less started. Before the days of nudging you had to ‘convince’ parts to go where you wanted!
@TheFantasticTyphoon
No worries! @EpicPigster1
Dang gotta wait till tomorrow to spotlight
Hmm, now that I think of it I never detached the parachute once the Defender was on tbe ground. I have noticed, however, that parachutes will disappear after a while.@Tang0five
Strange @Potkuri, I know despite it having a parachute attached it tends to drift off slowly. If there's a slight incline it will roll downhill. I also tend to do high drops so it's still in motion earthwards as I land. I think sp doesn't count this as debris then and remove it. With that said I have tried low level drops and bimbled around the sky for a bit and it's not disappeared on me yet. I'll try it out a bit longer and see if it's being treated like detritus and removed!
I dropped the Defender on an airfield, then landed the plane. When I switched back to the car to drive around it was nowhere to be seen! Maybe SP cleaned out the "debris" while I was in the landing pattern...?
Thank you @Athaya
Thanks @niggelas100. Took the best part of a week from start to finish!
Wow looks great!!
