here we have the evolution of my sky crane idea. shes a stable flier if kept off the stall. vtol works beautfully (100% throttle take offs fast, transition to foward flight, 47-52% throttle is good for vtol landing). with paratrooper pod. hit detacher 1 to drop the door, detacher 2 to release paratroopers, detacher 3 to release pod. might need to wiggle the troops out as there very scared. more cargo loads to come soon.

4,857 Katrina@RanceR save the payloads as sub assemblys (for later use) then trash the 3 your not using. That frees it up and it shouldn't lag.9.3 years ago

4,857 KatrinaThanks for checking her out @scriefers I would fit more engines but was having issues with the balance. I like to say she is a cargo copter, and as such isn't a fast aircraft and need flying with care and Delicacy. Makes her more fun to fly, and more satisfying when u get it right. 25.5k ScriefersPretty damn clever! I like the idea of different payloads. Stable vtol and easy to maintain balance with rcn's, but it could use a little more thrust when in flight mode to avoid stalls and spins.9.3 years ago
