The RF-9 "Cutter" is a fighter aircraft developed as a direct successor to the earlier RF-7 "Cutlass", providing a larger, more robust platform capable of achieving higher speeds. While largely oriented for air-to-air combat, the featured model does carry a simple air-to-ground armament as well.
Features
The RF-9 has a high-powered turbofan engine which can propel the craft to supersonic speeds in the right conditions. The nose-mounted pitot tube practically doubles as a refueling probe. The design has one long top-mounted airbrake and flaps for speed/combat control. Other than that it is a relatively normal fighter.
