SA-1 Sturmteufel Mk III

13.6k Urocyon  4.0 years ago

Alternative WWI build, this time a strategic airship bomber for the Kingdom of Greenlandia.

Armament:
32 250Lb bombs.
2 Medium Gren Type 1 MG's (Gondola)
2 Heavy Gren Type 3 MG's (Cupola)
1 Light Flak cannon - 250 rounds (Cupola)

Yaw and pitch for controls. AG 8 deactivates/activates contol surfaces/bomb bay doors. AG 7 = forward ventral gun cupola. AG 6 = rear ventral gun cupola. AG 4 & 5 activate command gondola guns left and right respectively. AG 3 = light flak cupola.

After successful bombing run, gear up to readjust ballast. If activating a gun turret, please deactivate AG 8 for best results.

Flak cannon range is between 0.7 and 0.9 miles. Also, due to configuration, aiming/firing AG 7 turret and AG 3 flak turret together works quite well.

And yes, it's filled with hydrogen :D

Hey dude, there’s a much easier way to get the striped hull shape, just use two fuselage blocks and rotate one 45 degrees like I did on my uss akron. It looks basically the same with way less parts
